CHOC Circle of Friends

Sonya Versluys and Daniel Kim attend The CHOC Foundation's Circle of Friends luncheon.

On November 17th, Talium Healthkick committee members Daniel Kim and Sonya Versluys attended the CHOC Foundation’s Circle of Friends Luncheon at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel.

The Circle of Friends luncheon is held annually to celebrate and thank the work of the many volunteers who raise funds and awareness for The CHOC Foundation on a consistent basis, and contribute more than $10,000 annually.

Each table at the luncheon is hosted by a CHOC physician.  The Talium table was hosted by Dr Philip H Schwartz, PhD, Senior Scientist, CHOC Children’s Research Institute and Managing Director of CHOC Neural Stem Cell Resource.

Planning for Healthkick 2012!

Grand Master Lee opens Healthkick 2011

Ambassador

Master Lee, The Spoonhower Family, and Breanna Weeks from CHOC.

Our favorite CHOC ambassador, Bailey Spoonhower, poses with his family, Grand Master Lee and Breanna Weeks, during Talium Healthkick 2011.  Bailey has been at our Healthkick event every year, and we love to see how far he has come battling his life-threatening cancer diagnosis.  Way to go Bailey!

$20,000 check presentation

Grand Master Lee and Mayor Kang present Breanna Weeks with the check.

Thanks to all the generous donations, and hard work of our students and volunteers, we were able to present CHOC with $20,000 to go towards our goal of funding a $50,000 Radiology Consultation Room in their new building!  Congratulations Talium Family!
